My lovely great auntie died aged 91 years. She wanted to be buried next to her parents. ‘The family’ thought it would be a lot easier to cremate her, as the burial plot ownership was tricky to prove! So I advocated for my Auntie Dot and she was buried next to her parents. There was no funeral service (she didn’t want one). I spoke at the graveside and then she was buried. I chose the co-op for the funeral care bit and got £200 in co-op points, my Auntie Dot would have loved that.
