Volunteering at St Wilfrid’s I entered the room of a man who was clearly very unwell and approaching end of life. He asked me to buy him quite a large number of lottery tickets. I clearly looked surprised. He smiled broadly and said, “you never know, this could be my lucky day.” You are living until you take your final breath. Embrace every moment!
