I feel lucky that as a child my parents did not hide me from death. I have lovely last memories with grandparents during their last days of life that I will treasure forever as those moments were filled with both tears and laughter. I remember aged 10 being with my nan in the hospital saying our goodbyes and sharing memories. A moment I’m glad I got to have.
