I was told be a funeral director that I couldn’t have the cheapest coffin for a burial as it had to last 25 years! Also, a funny story – the same funeral director – I was asked how I would like my father to look in his coffin and I had no idea what he meant so I replied, ‘Elvis Presley would be novel!’ (I think it was sheer nerves!!) He actually meant in a shroud or in ‘normal’ clothes but why can’t they just speak normally?
